Worth staying at the Craigbank! The hosts are lovely. The guesthouse is just a short walk from the train station. Rooms were well furnished. Full hot breakfast available. The town of Crianlarich is a bit plain, but the folks in town are friendly. The shop is well stocked as well.
We were booked in here as part of a walking tour package and arrived very late (a good hour after official check-in had closed which we hadn’t been alerted of by said tour company). Veronica and Colin called to check on our progress and waited out for us, gave us the full rundown of facilities when we arrived and had brought our luggage to our room for us. The food - breakfast and then a packed lunch - was great, the room was cosy (with a bath and great water pressure in the bathroom) and the hospitality was fab. Thankyou both from us!
Sweet couple running this B&B! We had a cute room with two beds, one of the more spacious rooms and bathrooms we had on our trip with hot water/great shower, and yummy breakfast.
This B&B was charming with warm and welcoming owners. Honestly, the room felt too nice for a couple of rain-soaked hikers. Amazing breakfast and packed lunch as we headed back onto the WHW next morning. Would happily have stayed longer, would happily return.
Colin and Veronica were lovey hosts, from accommodating us at last minute, to offering to help dry our very wet gear. The room was clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast was a great start to the day. Would stay again if passing though
This was our favourite stay on the West Highland Way even though it came at the end of what was by far the longest and hardest day. I echo the comments of many others here that the owners are wonderful people. They even offered to wash some of our clothes and also sent some shoes we forgot on to our next B&B! Breakfast was great too!
Wonderful stay at Craigbank as we passed through on the west highland way. We walked in soaking and they very kindly took everything to the drying room asap, and also were able to make us a soup and sandwich since the local restaurant was closed. Room was very comfortable and the shower was amazing!! Lovely breakfast in the atrium the next day. Thanks again Colin and Veronica!
Had a fantastic stay at this bed and breakfast in the Crianlarich. The rooms were spotless and really comfortable, exactly what you want after a day of walking . Breakfast was absolutely delicious – you can tell a lot of care goes into it. Veronica and Colin, the owners, couldn’t have been more welcoming or friendly, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.
